Membership has its privileges…

For as long as I can remember, art has been a vibrant thread woven into the fabric of my life. I grew up in a household where lived artistic freedom and experiences + museum visits were regular occurrences. I was always surrounded by the beauty and power of visual expression. I lived overseas in my formative years so my appreciation for architecture, language, flavor, prayer calls is rooted deep! So, it feels natural for me to seek out spaces where art can nourish my soul. If you’ve been to my home, you already know this!

I am a creative and a Museum Nerd!!

I have found my artistic haven in the Baltimore Museum of Art (BMA), a place that, despite its grand architecture, feels accessible and inviting. For me, art isn't just about admiring aesthetic beauty; it's a way to connect with my community and delve deeper into what brings me joy! Art makes me feel represented in all my complexity. I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to actually join this museum!

Joining the BMA as a member was one of the best decisions I have made. It not only provides unlimited access to the museum's collections and special exhibitions but also offers exclusive benefits like invitations to member-only events, discounts on workshops and gift shop purchases, and free admission for guests.

As a member, I feel invested in the museum's mission and future. My contribution helps to support educational programs, conserve precious artifacts, and ensure that the museum remains a vital cultural hub for the entire Baltimore community.

If you are looking for a place where art can nourish your soul, foster community connection, and inspire your own creativity, I highly recommend exploring the Baltimore Museum of Art. Its commitment to inclusivity, diverse collections, and dynamic programs makes it an invaluable resource for art enthusiasts of all backgrounds and perspectives. Embrace the opportunity to become a member and contribute to the museum's ongoing legacy of artistic excellence and community engagement.
